Compelled Ones Mission
BACK IN AMERICA!
Hi friends and family,
We have so much to be grateful for as we head into the season of remembering all the Jesus has accomplished! This is the season that I (Ian) especially miss you all and my home country! An annual reminder of all we have had to let go of in our calling for the greater hope of when we are all together in His presence.
It's always a joy and a bit of a resistance for me to send the last two months of updates. Joy because of looking on all God has done! Challenge, because I know we will have to ask you and the greater body of Christ to meet urgent needs.
Carla and I were pondering what it would look like to write a detailed list of the hard to process things of humanity we see on the daily. I told her I don't think I could do it super detailed and share with many, because it's just so outside the western mindset of being able to accept as a norm for a society.
A few things I considered writing down, so that I could honestly process the trauma within myself were;
-kids every day, in every location with poor nutrition (literally starving over a 50 year process)
-kids and adults constantly in the same 1-2 pairs of clothes
-humanity having to walk everywhere...everywhere!
-80% of total population with no power
-kids trying to find work at 12 because they can't go to school or aren't learning there anyway
-Mom's leaving infants with siblings under 6 so they can get wood, or water, or wash clothes (all day events)
-entire communities walking to their fields at 4am in hopes of planting a reeping a harvest of corn, potatoes, or other things for their only food.
-basic medical needs not being met for sake of resource or cost leading to...
-death of someone at least weekly if not daily for months on end
-corruption upon corruption
I realized with Carla that I could probably write a list for 2-3 hours!
Why do I write this? Because, it makes me realize that we should have broken a long time ago emotionally if it wasn't for the grace of a loving God! A God who has kept this people and many other nations from passing away completely.
His grace is sufficient, and will continue to be, and that is why we wrote this update in continued hope of you and others partnering in this great commission.
Thank you for all you have done in prayer and support to serve God in helping us not to break under the stress, and give us the grace to give Him alone the burden. Thanks for checking out the needs and helping us finish 2025 for His glory!
----------------------------------------
Heading into the last two months of 2025 there are some urgent needs the mission needs to cover in order to head into 2026 healthy and strong! Thank you, as always for your prayers and support for these timely things.
Immediate Needs
Annual Residency DIRES: (These went up significantly last year)
$875 per person x 4 = $3,492 (Due End of November!)
Malaria Medication - 6 Months: $3,500 (Due End of November!) This is a very challenging need currently because of the currency crisis in Malawi where we source our meds.
★★★ These two large and urgent needs can be mostly met when we are able to hit our monthly salary.
Our general salary budget goal is $6,000 per month.
We have been averaging around $4,000 last 10 months.

COMING ALONG WITH US
So how can you help and be a partner with us? The first way is to make yourself acquainted with the mission itself by visiting:
https://www.ywam.org/
The release of Ian's new CD has been going great! If you have not heard yet we will be using all the proceeds from the album help with the mission needs in Mozambique. This is a wonderful way that anyone could help the family out by purchasing an album and sending friends to do the same. You can pick up the new CD by looking up Ian Kristofer on iTunes or simply going here: www.cdbaby.com/cd/iankristofer
