Sunday Morning: In-Person and Live-Stream
Since the arrival of COVID-19, we have been continuing to monitor public health recommendations to mitigate against possible COVID-19 spread through our church activities out of a deep concern for the physical health and safety of our people and an awareness that our congregation includes people in vulnerable categories whom we want to protect.
With the continued diminishing impact of COVID in Arizona, we are largely returned to our pre-COVID protocols, with a few residual changes we look to phase out in time.

- Our 9:30am worship service is being held in our Sanctuary with chair rows spaced a bit wider than normal
- Children (1st to 6th grade) at the 9:30am worship service start with us in the Sanctuary and are dismissed to their classes after congregational singing. The younger children have dedicated Children's Ministry groups for either the Nursery/Toddler age or Pre-K through Kindergarten age (and are always welcome in the Worship Service, if you'd prefer).
- Communion is being distributed by ushers holding a tray with "double-stacked" cups containing the elements (the bottom cup has the bread; the top cup has the juice). Offering boxes are next to the exit doors at the end of service to collect any offering not given online.
- Our Cafe has resumed operation before and after our 9:30am worship service. Coffee and donuts (and other snacks) are available and any donations go to our Youth Ministry.
- Our 2nd Hour Sunday School Groups for children, youth, and adults are fully up and running.
- We remain committed to live-stream (and post saved recordings) of the 9:30 Worship Service online so you can still worship with us from home if your personal circumstances require it. To watch the live stream, you can click this link at 9:30am on Sunday mornings to go to our church YouTube page where you will see a link to watch the live recording (all of our recorded services are posted on our YouTube page as well). Shortly after the service is over, the video will be posted on This Week's Livestream as a recording that you can watch at any time.
- If you test positive for COVID-19, please let us know so we can pray for you and help in tangible ways. (NOTE: we will keep this confidential and will only share it with those you authorize)
As always, if you are experiencing financial or practical challenges during this season, please let us know so we can see how we might be able to help or connect you with resources that can help.
Finally, we want to keep before you that our church is wholly supported by the regular giving of our members, and we encourage you to continue giving—as you are able—to support the ministries that are ongoing here and for the ministries and missionaries we support worldwide.
Our prayers continue to be with each of you.
Together for Jesus,
GCC Elders and Pastors
